SENSORY GARDEN 2026 VOLUNTEER SESSIONS

Wednesday and Saturday afternoons,

in the Sensory Garden

Come and enjoy a bit of gardeing with some friends! All sessions run from 2pm to 5pm. You are welcome to any session you can make – and free to come and go to suit your plans.

The Sensory Garden volunteer sessions for the rest of the year will be on the following dates:

Feb: Wed 18th, Sat 28th
March: Wed 11th, Sat 21st
April: Wed 1st, Sat 11th, Wed 22nd
May: Sat 2nd, Wed 13th, 23rd
June: Wed 3rd, Sat 13th, Wed 24th
July: Sat 4th July, Wed 15th, Sat 25th
Aug: Wed 5th, Sat 15th, Wed 26th
Sept: Sat 5th, Wed 16th, Sat 26th
Oct: Wed 7th, Sat 17th, Wed 28th
Nov: Sat 7th, Wed 18th, Sat 28th

Note that if the weather forecast is very bad, the session is likely to be cancelled.

LITTER PICKS IN 2026

Usually on the first Sunday of the month

at 08:30 at the Visitor Centre

Please come and join us for another litter pick to help our park staff keep our beautiful park clean and tidy. Everyone welcome. Followed by some free refreshments.

Litter picks will usually be on the first Sunday of the month at 08:30. The provisional dates for the 2026 litter picks are:

March: Sun 1st
April: Sun 5th
~~May: Sun 3rd~~ – Cancelled due to the Vaisakhi Games and Coventry City promotion celebrations during this weekend
June: Sun 7th
July: Sun 12th
Aug: Sun 2nd
Sept: Sun 6th
Oct: Sun 4th

FWMP GENERAL MEETINGS IN 2026

13:30 at the Visitor Centre, on the dates below

We meet regularly to plan projects and discuss park issues. Please cone and join us if you can spare some time to help maintain and promote our beautiful park. All welcome.

The dates for the remainimg General Meetings in 2025 for the Friends of the War Memorial Park will take place in the Visitor Centre form 1:30pm to 3:30pm on the following dates:
