December 2020:

Our thanks to BBC CWR and Richard Williams for the fantastic programme (listen here) featuring the War Memorial Park on 28th December.   Richard featured our benches social history project and interviewed one of the bench donors, Julia Ramsay, about the bench dedicated to her husband.  He also interviewed Pete Walters on the history of the park.  Throughout the show Richard mentioned the centenary weekend and asked for memories of the Park. Listeners called in with their memories – mainly about the old children’s railway.
